XMA secures delivery of services to Education sector
XMA has announced its inclusion on two key higher education market frameworks enabling the company to deliver hardware and software solutions to this sector. These frameworks are the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) Servers, Storage and Solutions National Agreement (SSSNA) and the Software Licence Resellers Agreement (SLRA).
The SSSNA Framework is the direct replacement for the outgoing National Server and Storage Agreement. Within the SSSNA Framework, XMA is present on Lots 1 (Server) and 3b (High Performance Computing), enabling XMA to supply its own brand Viglen Servers and High Performance Computing solutions, whilst also operating as reseller of Fujitsu server solutions.
Importantly, its successful inclusion on the new SSSNA Lot 4 means XMA will also supply reseller servers, storage and solutions representing 20 market leading partners to meet all customer requirements. XMA was awarded first place overall for both Lots 3b and 4 and second place overall for Lot 1, reinforcing its understanding and capability within this market.
Within the SLRA, XMA is present on Lot 1 Microsoft, Lot 3 VMware, Lot 4 Other software and Lot 5 Software Services ensuring comprehensive coverage of customer’s software requirements.
Mark Bailey Head of XMA’s HE Division commented, “Our inclusion on these two frameworks reflects our ongoing commitment to the Higher Education sector and when combined with our presence on the Apple, NDNA, Networking and ITRAP Frameworks demonstrates the breadth of services XMA offer to the Higher Education Market overall.”
