Enhanced security with Pull Printing
Many organisations today still use traditional 'push' printing methods, where a user will print directly to the selected printer and the job is produced immediately. With the increase of open-plan offices, mobile working and hot-desking, this presents a number of security and control issues. Could someone pick up your document before you? If the printer is broken, where will the document come out and when? How can you track what is printed?

Our 'pull' print networked system solution enables you to successfully manage your hard copy and soft copy documents. The user sends their print job directly to a single print queue, then they can go to any pull-enabled printer, authenticate with a smart card, fingerprint or PIN number, and request the printout at that location.

This solution lets you monitor your print, copy, scan and email usage, helping you to control cost by only paying for what you use. You can also protect the print document on the network until it is collected at the device via user identification, increasing security and blocking unauthorised access.
